Welcome to Learning 2.0 Basics

UPDATE

Please note that as of March 2011 ongoing support of this course by the City of Swan Libraries has ceased. The course material will however remain online for individual libraries who have expressed an interest in running this course in-house for their staff.

Participants in the course should check that they have completed all the necessary course assessment tasks as they go.

Remember, from Week 3 onwards you are expected each week to:
  • Comment on at least 5 other participant's blog posts
  • Write at least 100 words per Explore topic

Learning 2.0 Basics is a program to learn more about technologies on the web that are changing the way people, society and libraries access information and communicate with each other.

This course, compiled by City of Swan Libraries, is primarily based on the State Library of NSW Public Libraries Learning 2.0 program mixed with a little from Murdoch University Library's 23 Things and some sections that are uniquely our own.

Participants who complete the entire course will receive a certificate of completion. Some libraries will be offering prizes to their own staff.
